Mercedes-Benz to launch C63 S AMG Sedan in India in September

Mercedes-Benz India is all set to add another AMG to it’s already strong line-up of performance cars in India in the form of the Mercedes AMG C63 S Sedan. This will be the third new AMG model Mercedes will launch in India within a span of just two months; the previous ones being the S63 AMG Coupe and Sedan. The C63 AMG sedan is based on the current C-Class which was launched in India less than a year ago. The new C-Class successfully created a new benchmark in its segment and it went on to claim global accolade by winning the prestigious: ‘World Car of the Year’. Mercedes-Benz has just launched the C63 S AMG Sedan in India today.

Specs

India will get the more powerful ‘S’ version of the Mercedes AMG C63. It is powered by a 4.0 litre twin turbo V8 AMG engine and puts out a massive 510 hp of power and 700 Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties are handled by a 7-speed Dual Clutch automatic transmission. All this comes together to pull to a 100 km/h from standstill in just 4.0 seconds flat!
